Nun dreht sich im Buch Karaoke fast alles um Musik. Zunächst greift Wladimir Kaminer die bestens bekannte Russendisko wieder auf. So lernt der Leser den Türsteher kennen, der nur BBPs abweist, also Besonders Betrunkene Personen. Ganz wie in Kaminers Leben führen die weiteren Geschichten von der Hauptstadt der Sowjetunion ins frisch vereinigte Deutschland nach Berlin. Wenn dort in brechend vollen Kneipen Besoffene laute Musik hören, fühlen sich Zartbesaitete weniger … mehrwohl. Denn auch wenn die wilden Jahre des Autors längst passé sind -- gemäßigter Pop hat bis heute in der Russendisko nichts verloren. weniger
