Supernatural horror - and directorial debut from Jason Zada - set in the legendary Aokigahara Forest, a real-life place at the base of Mount Fuji in Japan where people go to end their lives. A young American woman Sara (Natalie Dormer) comes to the forest in search of her sister who has gone missing. In spite of everyone's warnings not to stray from the path she enters the forest in search of her sister, only to be soon confronted by the tortured souls of the dead who … mehrprey on those they encounter.
